Golden Melody = Otwin ???

Hallo,

habe auf Ebay eine Gitarre entdeckt, die angesichts des Griffbretts offenbar einen versteckten Rellog-PU hat, also aus der ehemaligen DDR sein dürfte. Auf dem Schlagbrett steht "Golden Melody". Ist das vielleicht eine Otwin oder Ähnliches? Hat jemand eine Idee, was das für eine Gitarre ist und von wann wieviel ein angemessener Preis dafür sein könnte? Danke.

It is a Goldon Melody. Goldon was a maker from the DDR but there's not much info available about it.

About this guitar, I don't think it has a Rellog pickup besides there are some frets missing at the fretboard end. This was very common and doesn't mean there's always a pickup underneath. Though Goldon made some finely crafted models this one looks like a budget and plain small schlaggitarre, probably with a laminated or just pressed maple top.

this is no GOLDON! It means defenitely Golden!

1. GOLDON guitars and basses looks totely diffrent
2. Look at the writing of the first O in Golden. Diffrent like the E !

... so botton line is: till now noone knows, what kind of guitar this is.
I guess I am not going to buy this one, but I am still curious: Anyone know anything about this guitar? Thanks.
