Durch diese Patentschrift, bin ich drauf gekommen, dass die Fa. OTWIN die Tonabnehmer selbst produzieren lieÃ!

Re: OTWIN Otto Windisch Tonabnehmer Patent
Thanks a lot for sharing this document, Stefan.
This what I always thought. I find no connection in the making style and design of the Rellog and the Otwin pickups. And in other hand Rellog and EAM faded from very early sixties without a trace, while Otwin kept using their recognizable and unique pickups all along the sixties. It's hard to believe that they had stocked enough Rellog made stuff for years to fit all their electric guitars. I was always convinced that they made the pickups on their own. Otwin started dealing with musical related electronic stuff before the WWII. One more point to think that Otwin made their own designed pickups after the war too.
Though as we know so well about these guitar makers, there have always been weirdos and oddities. Like this rebranded Rellog mounted on a mid '50s Otwin guitar.

Willy Goller go on pension ´cause he was old! Thats the reason! His son overtook his radioshop in Plauen but he don´t build pickups!Shallow hat geschrieben:Rellog and EAM faded from very early sixties without a trace,
