I hope you all are doing well! I have this vintage B&S 2/5 mouthpiece and like how it plays, but I can't find specs for it anywhere. As far as I can tell(it might be not precisely accurate), the rim size is 18.00 mm and it has a cup depth somewhat similar to my Bach 6(no letter). The rim is wide and not sharp at all. The throat and backbore seems quite large and open. It produces rich and smooth tone, but not cornet-like tone, it still sounds like a trumpet. I would like to ask you if you know some similar mouthpieces to match my B&S specs, bcse I like it and I want to try something similar, but more expensive and in better condition. Bach 1X?, Schilke 20? Some German mouthpieces?
Thank you and best wishes,
Ruslan Varlamov

Hello Ruslan,
why don't you look for a mouthpiece manufacturer and ask him to give you a similar one? There is Breslmair, Tilz, JK or Others which can assist you. Breslmair is also known for copying mouthpieces by 3D scan. I don't know If you're successful by comparing descriptions.
