Looking at a B&S Blue label tenor, s/n 5188. Do you know the year of production? Is this from the 'second generation'?

Hi Victor,
the Tenor with SN 5188 was built in either end of 1978 or beginning of 1979.
You own the first series of the B&S "Blue Label" saxophones.
