B&S tubas identification

Hallo freunden,

I have in my care 3 B&S tubas, all bought second hand with little information on their history.
Would anyone be able to give an approximation to their date of manufacture according to their serial numbers?
Here are the horns:
F-tuba with 6 rotors (3100?), 3rd one is two whole steps serial number: 182134, engraved Symphonie, made in GDR
F-tuba with 5 rotors (3099?), 5th is two whole steps as well, serial number: 364484, no engraving, made in Germany
C-tuba GR41 serial number 377278

I am especially interested in information regarding the 2 F tubas!

I’m from France, which might explain the different systems on the Fs

Hello Martin,

the F-tuba with the serial number 182134 was made around middle of the year 1982.

The F-tuba with the number 364484 dates back to about the beginning of the year 2004.

For the C-tuba with the serial number 377278, I can only estimate: maybe 2005, maybe also 2006.
