Pictures of one of the contrabassoon made by Oscar Oehler. I'm looking for info on how many contras were made by Oehler.

Did Oscar Oehler made other instruments than clarinets? I have found some info about bassoon and contrabassoon made by Oskar Oehler Berlin, and my question is that might be stenciled instruments, did he made them by yourself?

Hi. Just for reference, key of A, serial number 9320. Case was made before 1945 (DRGM number on it) so clarinet also could be made around that year.

Hi. Is there any chance to identify the manufacturer of the clarinet on attached pictures. Unfortunately only serial number is on the body. I think Mollenhauer used such font for serial numbers, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

Clarinet on above picture have 621 model engraving. On F. Arthur Uebel web page 621 is Bb. I'm just wondering if Uebel change model numbers during the years of manufacture. In 1967 key of C was 621 model, nowadays key of C is 611.

Hi. I have a question concerning Uebel C clarinet. The serial number is 672080 and above 621 (I'm assuming it's model number). So it was made in 1967? And did Uebel changed the model numbering during the years of manufacture? Nowadays 621 its Bb and 611 is C. Thanks

I also have wooden flute made by Kurt Jacob Markneukirchen and also stamped Migma. Maybe it help in investigation. I'm also interested in the history of the manufacturer.

I'm a professional seller, but I'm also collecting brass and woodwind instruments, especially some unusual, not typical, custom made etc. Before posting a horn for sale I want to get as much details as it's possible. And on this forum you can find a lot of useful information.

Does F. Arthur Uebel (before GDR era) made Boehm flutes? I have found one on pictures below. The engraving looks like an original F Arthur Uebel, but the rings on the barrel and bell looks like from GDR era clarinet. Any ideas? Serial number is 822 and below 69898.
