thanks intune, I already know the date manufactured and that it probably was supplied to the UK because of the Rundall Carte stamp and case plaque...some Rundall Carte engravings on some saxes and brass horns, that I've seen, look like they were done with a hammer and a nail, not like the bold stamp...

Hello, I've acquired from an auction a Weltklang Solist alto sax, serial # 53559 in excellent condition and I've dated it to between 1981-82. I was directed to this site and if possible would like to find anyone on here with any info about this model and the significance of the stamp "Rundall Carte"...
